orologio Santos Vega en CB01 OFFICIAL. The film adapts the legendary story of Santos Vega, a famous folk payador (improvisational gaucho singer) from Argentine folklore. In the narrative—rooted in Rafael Obligado’s literary work—Vega is an unbeatable singer of the pampa who is eventually challenged by a mysterious stranger named Juan Sin Ropa (representing modernity, science, or the devil). Defeated in the musical duel, Vega passes away, symbolizing the fading of traditional gaucho freedom and lifestyle with the arrival of fences and modern progress.
